2008 Taurus Ford- Specification- Trim

The re-styled 2008 Ford Taurus is a 4-door family sedan. It is launched in the market in two different trims, like the base SEL and up-level Limited. This re-skinned large Sedan comes in either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The Taurus models for 2008 are:

- Ford Taurus SEL
- Ford Taurus SEL AWD
- Ford Taurus Limited
- Ford Taurus Limited AWD

All the models are capable of accommodating up to five adult passengers. All the 2008 Ford Taurus Sedans are manufactured at Ford's Hapeville Plant in Atlanta, Georgia.

SEL Trim

The SEL trim of the 2008 Ford Taurus Car has standard 17-inch wheels, full power accessories, leather-wrapped steering wheel, wood grain interior trim, air-conditioning, a CD player and MP3 jack, cruise control and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror. The 2008 Ford Taurus SEL FWD is launched with a standard 3.5-liter, V6, 263-horsepower engine that gives 18-mpg in the city and 28-mpg on the highway.

Limited Trim

Just like the SEL trim, the Limited trim also comes with a number a standard features like 18-inch wheels, leather upholstery, a power passenger seat, front seat heaters, a memory system for the driver seat/mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control, an upgraded audio system with a six-disc CD changer, heated mirrors with puddle lamps, and an analog clock. The Limited AWD comes with a standard 3.5-liter, V6, 263-horsepower engine that gives 17-mpg in the city and 24-mpg on the highway. Both the trims have a standard 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive.

For both the trims optional features include moonroof, navigation system, rear-seat DVD entertainment system, satellite radio and the Ford Sync system. The 2008 Ford Taurus line-up with its all-new look and many more standard features are already making a buzz in the market.
